Horizon Tours New Zealand Limited will hold securely any personal information about you that we receive through this website. We will only use that information for our own business purposes or objectives. You may access that information by request made to our offices and request the correction of any errors in that information.
Refunds: For tours that are less than 1 day duration
Horizon Tours New Zealand Limited will provide a full refund or credit for cancellations if made more than one week prior to your tour. We reserve the right to charge up to 50% for bookings canceled within one week, but before 48 hours of their tour, and 100% for bookings cancelled within 48 hours, or for no-shows. Should Horizon Tours New Zealand Limited cancel a tour for any reason, such as inclement weather, Horizon Tours New Zealand Limited will provide either a full refund or will reschedule at your option.
All payments are processed via DPS, DPS is committed to data security. DPS uses a variety of technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, DPS stores the data in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities secured by the latest in surveillance and security technology. When DPS transmits sensitive information (such as a credit card numbers), DPS protects it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Credit card details stored onsite are encrypted using 168bit 3DES encryption. DPS is a level 1 certified PCI-DSS compliant provider:
PCI DSS, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is a set of security requirements relating to the protection of card holder data. The standard is governed by the PCI Security Standards Council, an organisation put together by most of the major card schemes VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover. It's relevant for any entity that stores or transmits sensitive card holder data, that being generally things like the PAN (card number), Card security code, track data, PIN block. The current version of the standard is Version 1.2. Preceding PCI-DSS the card schemes had their own standards, the VISA Account Information Security (AIS) standard formed the basis to most of the PCI-DSS requirements."

Horizon Tours New Zealand Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MULTI DAY TOURS
Refunds: For multi-day tours ('Southern Landscapes and Wildlife' Tour or 'Southern Expedition' Tour)
For multi day tours, Horizon Tours New Zealand Limited will provide a full refund or credit for cancellations if made more than 21 days prior to your tour. We reserve the right to charge 20% for bookings canceled within 20-14 days, 50% for bookings canceled within 13-4 days, and 100% for bookings cancelled within 3 days or for no-shows. Refunds will not be paid if guest decide to leave the tour before the end of the tour date. Should Horizon Tours New Zealand Limited cancel a tour for any reason, such as inclement weather, Horizon Tours New Zealand Limited will provide either a full refund or will reschedule at your option.
Covid19: If your tour is cancelled due to government restrictions we can either offer a full refund (before the commencement date of the tour), transfer your booking to another departure date or refund the remaining portion of the tour price (if the tour has already started).
All other circumstances around Covid19 cancellations will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
ACCOMMODATION and ACTIVITIES
Changes to accommodation or activities that differ from those advertised may occur from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances. Any changes to accommodation or activities will be of a similar or greater standard and value.
Weather conditions, road closure or other unforeseen circumstances may, from time to time, cause a detour to the advertised route.
