When we first started to think about the possibility of Horizon Tours, one of our goals was to provide avenues for us as a whanau through our business to support local community conservation programs.
For every person who journeys with us, a portion of your tour price, a koha - contribution - is offered to support the areas we visit. This koha in turn supports predator control, tree planting, maintenance of historic structures and monitoring of visitor impacts at sites we visit on the Otago Peninsula.
We are a local family. We are passionate about supporting the Dunedin community and conservation of our natural and cultural heritage for future generations. We are proud to be working with other organisations who share those same values.
